The purpose of this assignment is to explore the many aspects of disaster planning and emergency preparedness.
Choose an existing disaster plan from your workplace, church, gym, etc., and create a PowerPoint presentation (5-7 slides) analyzing the disaster or emergency plan for its components. Include the following in your presentation:
- Identify the type of disaster.
- Describe the key elements of the disaster plan.
- Identify which local, state, or federal agencies will respond and what assistance will be provided.
- Describe roles and responsibilities of experts in relation to emergency management and communication.
